If you love the sunshine and water, you'll love our large and luxurious heated pool. If you want to fish in beautiful Sarasota Bay, you can walk down to our fishing pier. We're famous for our wonderful tennis courts, but there's more than tennis at Cedar Tennis Resort.

Relax and cool off or swim some laps for exercise in our large and luxurious Jr. Olympic heated pool. Or lounge around it and soak in the sun. There's plenty of seating and tables available on the deck for sunning or pleasant socializing under the gorgeous tropical skies in the fresh breezes from the Gulf of Mexico.

Walk on down to our fishing pier and peer out across Sarasota Bay. You're sure to see some beautiful birds in this calm water home to dolphins and manatees. Drop in a line, or just sit on a bench and enjoy the fresh saltwater air and the splendid view. The path down to the pier is bordered by lush tropical wetlands and shaded by trees that form a tropical canopy.

And of course, if you love tennis, you have come to the right place! We have 10 wonderful Har-Tru Courts that are open seven days a week, with lights for night play. Want to improve your game? The Tennis Pro Shop at Cedars Tennis Resort is well stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy tennis on our Har-Tru courts. Here you'll find a wide assortment of shoes and clothing, racquets and balls, sports bags and sport bottles, and all things tennis. Complete tennis racquet repair, restringing, and regrips are available. The Tennis Pro Shop staff can give you some good advice on what will work best for you. They can also provide information about our tennis activities and events, and they will help you reserve court time and schedule private or group lessons.
